did notice the arms but wasnt gonna mention it....
However most thin people will tend to have a bit more hair in order to keep them warm, bet most supermodels and stick thin wannabes like victoria adams now beckham have hairy arms too. Maybe they wax them.
That said Amy has a lovely little face in that photo |

What?  Since when are arm hair and weight in correlation? So if you are thin you'll have hair on your arms, but if you gain weight hair just disappear or fell off?
I've always been slim, but never really had hair on arms. I mean I still wax that few hairs I have, as I simply don't find hairy arms on girls pretty. |

yep thin people do grow fine hairs to keep them warm especially on the face, only show in sunlight usually. Yeah the she devil look isnt really the best, keepon waxing though the one time someone did a bit of my leg for a "laugh" it hurt like hell |

Not so sure about hairy on girlsonce went out with a girl who unfortunately had very dark hair so theynoticed a lot, couldnt bring myself to 'consumate' the relationship and she will forever be known as "monkiey girl". Shame really as she had a nice personality |

Errr I don't know, I guess it's also a matter of taste but I'm a fascist when it comes to that. Of course I'm talking about myself, I don't care about other girls arms, but it's ugly when they are visible and dark like in that Amy's photo, especially because it takes only 2 minutes and 52 seconds to get rid of them. |

I know I can be a bit of one myself at times BUT...
I think sometimes somebody's flaws can make them more beautiful. I don't know, that's just me I guess 
It can just be one thing about somebody that really gets your attention, and it can be something totally random like a scar on their cheek or a mole (Cindy Crawford was KNOWN for hers!)
I don't know, I guess I find beauty in some ugliness. I mean, just look at Johnny Rotten! He thought he was ugly and certainly wasn't "no bella of the ball" but I thought he was very good looking. But thats because I don't think something is "beautiful" by our society's standards...but by my own.

Even by our societies standards John was never ugly. He was quite handsome actually its just that back in the 70s if you chose to present yourself with messed up dyed hair and tatty clothes it lends an overall image to a person but in terms of features, John was never ugly

That is not an ugly man, not by a long chalk...look at his eyes, nose, jawline, they say symmetry is a sign of beauty and look at his face, its perfectly symmetrical, you could draw a line straight down the middle and its like...perfect. He's not ugly, he's actually strikingly handsome and i think he's always known that, secretly, he even admitted as such in a recent interview. I think it was part of his anti-star thing to denigrate himself in that way and now that he's grown old and he no longer has that matinee idol thing to his face he can afford to say yeah i was handsome then. Brilliant really For a man who operates within (or just outside of) an industry in which people trade on their looks he has managed to escape that perfectly, leaving whatever representation there is to be done of him to be done by his actions and his art. |

Nice post WLT enjoyed reading that.
May be the first time John Lydons been compared to Tony Blackburn but looking back at photos of him he has probablyrealised just how good looking he was, at the time he was a bit too unconventional and his appearance and clothing were shocking and over shadowed his looks. Although at times there were pictures of him looking a bit rough but I do remember seeing one of him in his book getting ready to go out and helooked good. a bitlike what he was wearing for the lyceum gig. |
